Valdespino's El Candado Pedro Ximinez is made from 100% Pedro Ximinez grapes that have been dried in the sun and fermented naturally in stainless steel. The wine is then aged in an oxidative style for over 10 years, concentrating its color and flavor. In the glass, the PX pours a deep mahagony with aromas and flavors of dried fruits, chocolate and coffee. Lusciously sweet on the palate, this wine can be dessert on its own, or try it with blue cheeses, pecan pie or chocolate chip cookies.
